I believe the ceremony should be the most memorable part of the wedding—not the part guests politely sit through before the bar opens.
I’ve been officiating weddings since 2015, creating personal wedding ceremonies around real people and real stories. The process replaces rigidity, filler, and borrowed language with careful preparation, laughter, emotion, and a ceremony that sounds as though I have known the couple for years.
That does not mean turning the ceremony into a performance about the officiant. My job is to hold the room, help the couple feel comfortable, and give everyone present a clearer sense of the two people standing in front of them.
Every couple has their own language, history, humour, and way of being together. I start there. Conversations and a thoughtful questionnaire uncover the moments that matter: first impressions, the proposal, the ordinary habits that became important, and the qualities friends and family recognise immediately. I turn that material into a complete ceremony with enough structure to feel effortless and enough freedom for laughter, applause, tears, cheers, and the occasional surprise.

I celebrated my 2,000th ceremony in October 2025. That experience spans everything from packed rooms to adventurous elopements. It means I know how to prepare for the room, work well with planners and wedding vendors, recover when something unexpected happens, and help two people stay present in a moment that can otherwise pass very quickly.
