Do More of What Matters

After officiating my 2,000th ceremony, I stop to name what I want more of: celebrating other vendors, slowing down, creating adventurous elopements, teaching officiants, and practising gratitude. I also name what needs to shrink: paperwork, generic language, automatic yeses, skipped milestones, and playing small.

I made this as a practical reflection rather than a resolution list. Wedding professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone reconsidering their time can use the same more-and-less exercise to identify the work that creates energy, the work that quietly drains it, and the changes worth making deliberately.
