Not All Heroes Wear Capes

I’m sharing Made to Replay’s very funny recognition of one small officiant habit: getting completely out of the frame for the couple’s first kiss. The moment belongs to them, and their photographer and videographer should be able to capture it without an officiant hovering between their faces in the background.

I shared this because good ceremony work includes the details that are never written in the script. Officiants can rehearse where they will move before the kiss, while couples and photographers can raise the subject during planning (official website). It takes only a second, costs nothing, and leaves everyone with a much cleaner image of an important moment.
