How I Start Every Ceremony
I take you through how I start a ceremony before the formal ceremony starts: checking my wireless audio, reviewing the marriage licence, connecting with the wedding party and both partners, understanding the stories I am about to tell, and making the announcement that gets guests present and ready to celebrate.
I shared this because the opening energy does not appear by accident. Officiants can use the sequence to settle the people behind the scenes, remove last-minute uncertainty, and welcome the room in their own voice. The goal is not to copy my words; it is to make every guest understand how they can support the couple from the first moment.
