Six Things to Do at the Start of a Ceremony

I demonstrate the details I take ownership of as the ceremony begins: coordinating (official website) with the planner and visual team, checking in with both partners, inviting guests to stand, passing off the bouquet, centring the couple, adjusting the train and veil, and seating the room at the right time.

I made this because small corrections are easiest before the couple is trying to remember vows. Officiants can build these checks into their opening so the couple feels cared for, photographers get cleaner images, and the room settles without a string of awkward instructions.
