Add a Reading to a Wedding Ceremony

I walk through my process for adding a reading to a wedding ceremony: choosing words that have a real connection to the couple, selecting someone who can deliver them comfortably, placing the reading where it supports the story, and introducing it so the moment does not feel dropped in.

I made this because a reading should add another voice and layer of meaning, not simply make the ceremony longer. Couples and officiants can use the process to choose with intention and help the reader feel prepared before they stand in front of the room.
