A one-day summit for officiants who want to stand out, deliver better ceremonies, build stronger relationships with couples and vendors, and become the officiant everyone recommends.

NOT JUST A BETTER OFFICIANT. AN UNFORGETTABLE ONE.

There are lots of ways to become a better officiant.

You can improve your script. You can get better at public speaking. You can learn how to tell better stories.

But being unforgettable is about more than what happens during the ceremony.

It’s about the experience you create.

It’s the way couples talk about you afterward. It’s the way photographers and planners feel when they see your name on the vendor list. It’s the reason someone recommends you before a couple has even started looking for an officiant.

On May 1, 2027 we’re bringing officiants together from across Ontario for four sessions specifically designed to help you become the officiant everyone recommends.

You’ll leave with practical ideas you can use immediately — at your next ceremony, in your business, and in the way you show up for the people you work with.

And we’re going to have a ridiculous amount of fun doing it.

Grab your name tag, meet some people and get settled in.

9:30AM–4:00PM — Become Unforgettable

Four sessions specifically designed to help you become the officiant everyone recommends.

We’ll talk about what makes an officiant memorable, how to create a better experience for couples and vendors, how to stand out in a crowded industry, and how to build a reputation people want to talk about.

Lunch, snacks, and a concerning amount of caffeine are included.

We’ll head out for an optional dinner together and keep the conversations going.

I’ll be teaching throughout the day alongside a group of people I’m incredibly excited to have involved in the very first Officiant Summit.

I’m going to introduce them properly soon.

For now, just know that I’ve been very intentional about bringing together people who have something genuinely useful to teach — and who understand what it means to create an experience people remember.

COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN?

We’ve made that pretty easy.

There’s a hotel basically across the street from Den 1880, so you can arrive Friday, walk to the summit Saturday morning and make a weekend out of it.

Hotel details and additional recommendations will be provided to registered attendees.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Because Ontario has never had an Officiant Summit before.

So…we’re making one.

A room full of people who understand this wonderfully weird job.

A day to learn from each other.

A chance to get better at what we do, meet other officiants, steal some great ideas, make some new friends and hopefully leave feeling ridiculously excited about your next ceremony.
